Der Flitzer is a compact steel roller coaster that utilizes small, single-car vehicles designed for tandem seating. The ride sequence begins with a motorized chain lift that carries the car to the highest point of the structure. From there, the car traverses a series of descending switchback turns and shallow drops that emphasize lateral gravitational forces. The layout is characterized by its tight radius curves and a continuous winding path back toward the ground level.
