Alabama Adventure & Splash Safari

Established 1998

Alabama Adventure & Splash Adventure is a dual-gate amusement and water park in Bessemer, Alabama, owned and operated by the Koch family, who are also known for their long-standing history with Holiday World. The park is distinguished by its “value pricing” model, which provides guests with free unlimited soft drinks, parking, sunscreen, and inner tubes. The park’s signature attraction is Rampage, a Custom Coasters International (CCI) wooden coaster that stands 120 feet tall and reaches speeds of 56 mph. The ride is part of a multi-year restoration project focusing on significant retracking to ensure a smoother experience, with its red trains recently undergoing a full factory refurbishment by Philadelphia Toboggan Coasters. Other notable attractions include Cheddar Chase, a steel Wild Mouse coaster relocated from Lake Winnepesaukah, and the Splash Adventure water park, which features the 600,000-gallon Kahuna Waves pool and the multi-person Rocket Racer slide.
