Cheddar Chase

Cheddar Chase is a steel “Wild Mouse” roller coaster at Alabama Adventure & Splash Adventure that features the signature sharp, unbanked turns and sudden drops characteristic of its model. Manufactured by L&T Systems, the attraction reaches a top speed of 25 mph and stands 48 feet tall, with a 1,183-foot track layout that utilizes five individual four-passenger cars. The ride has a history of relocation, having originally operated as Wild Lightnin’ at Lake Winnepesaukah from 2001 until its closure in 2021, before being moved and rebranded for its debut at its current Alabama home in 2022. It requires a minimum height of 48 inches to ride and is located near the Rocket Racer slide in the amusement park section of the resort.
