Riders ascend a slow chain lift into the sky before the track levels out and curves toward a precipice. The train inches forward and hangs precariously over a dark, steaming tunnel, leaving passengers staring straight down into the earth for several agonizing seconds. Upon release, the massive shuttle plummets vertically into the misty abyss, gathering intense speed before pulling out of the subterranean trench. A sharp, banked turn brings the train back toward the station as the adrenaline from the sudden drop begins to settle.
