Air Grover

Opening on March 27, 2010, Air Grover is a custom steel family coaster located in the Sesame Street Forest of Fun at Busch Gardens Tampa Bay. Manufactured by Zierer, the ride stands 24 feet tall and reaches a top speed of 26 mph over 640 feet of track, featuring a desert-themed layout that includes a small drop and several spiraling turns. Designed to simulate a flight with the character Grover, the ride serves as the park’s primary “junior” coaster, allowing children as short as 38 inches to experience their first drop alongside their parents. Since its debut, it has remained a high-capacity staple for families visiting the park, providing a smooth and accessible introduction to the more intense steel giants found elsewhere in the Serengeti.
