Vortex is a stand-up roller coaster featuring a compact layout that emphasizes sustained G-forces and quick transitions. Riders navigate the course in an upright position, experiencing a vertical loop and a corkscrew while secured by over-the-shoulder restraints. The train is carried to the top of the initial drop via a standard chain lift before gravity drives the vehicle through a series of banked turns and maneuvers.
