Wild Mouse

Opening on May 6, 2023, the current Wild Mouse is a custom steel spinning coaster that serves as the centerpiece of the park’s reimagined Boardwalk area. Manufactured by Zamperla, the ride features seven individual four-passenger cars—six themed after mice and one “lucky” cheese car—that navigate a 1,312-foot track filled with sharp unbanked turns and quick bunny-hop drops. Standing 52 feet tall and reaching a top speed of 28 mph, the ride’s unique free-spinning cars ensure that no two cycles are exactly the same, with the rotation speed depending on the weight distribution of the riders. This attraction is actually the third “Wild Mouse” in Cedar Point history, paying homage to the original 1954 and 1959 models while providing a modern, high-capacity family thrill that fills the gap left by the removal of the Wildcat in 2011.
