Possessed is an inverted impulse shuttle coaster that suspends riders below the track in a single, open-air train. Utilizing a linear induction motor launch, the train is rapidly accelerated forward and backward along a U-shaped layout. The course consists of two towering vertical spikes, one of which features a 90-degree vertical twist while the other is straight. The ride experience involves several passes through the launch zone, with the train climbing higher up the spikes each time, delivering moments of weightlessness at the peaks.
