Opening on December 24, 2014, at Fun Spot America Kissimmee, Hurricane is a classic steel triple-out-and-back coaster that serves as a high-capacity family anchor for the park. Manufactured by E&F Miler Industries, the ride stands 52 feet tall and reaches a top speed of 35 mph over 1,300 feet of track. Originally operating as Joker’s Revenge at Adventureland in New York before being relocated to Florida, the attraction is known for its smooth, undulating layout that features three separate lift hills and a series of gentle but spirited drops. Its compact footprint and bright blue track make it a visually striking part of the Kissimmee skyline, providing a “bridge” thrill for younger guests who are ready for something larger than a kiddie coaster but aren’t quite ready for the intensity of the park’s wooden hybrid, Mine Blower.
