Fun Spot America - Orlando
Established 1997
Opening on June 9, 1997, at its current expanded location, Fun Spot America Orlando is a 15-acre flagship theme park that serves as a high-intensity, “boutique” alternative to the major neighboring resorts. Located just off International Drive, the park is anchored by Florida’s first modern wooden coaster, White Lightning, and the massive Freedom Flyer suspended family coaster. Known for its multi-level “patented” go-kart tracks—including the four-story Quad Helix and the steep Commander—the park operates on a hybrid model that allows for free admission and parking while charging per ride or via all-day armbands. As of 2026, the park remains a premier destination for “pure” thrill seekers, offering a collection of extreme flat rides, one of the world’s tallest SkyCoasters at 250 feet, and a massive 10,000-square-foot arcade.
