Toboggan

Toboggan refers to two identical steel roller coasters manufactured by Chance Rides that operated simultaneously at Hersheypark from 1972 to 1977. These “Turbo-Toboggan” models featured a vertical lift hill inside a central enclosed tower, followed by a spiral descent and a series of small bunny hops at the conclusion of the layout. Each stand-alone unit occupied a compact footprint and reached a maximum height of 45 feet, providing a high-capacity thrill for the park’s mid-70s expansion.
