Hoosier Hurricane is a wooden out-and-back roller coaster built alongside the edge of a lake. The layout begins with a traditional chain lift hill and proceeds through a series of drops and airtime hills that run parallel to the park’s boardwalk. Riders experience the characteristic vibrations and lateral forces of a wooden structure while navigating a course that interacts with the surrounding midway. The train follows a linear path toward a large turnaround before heading back to the station.
