Manufactured by Vekoma, this “Family Thrill Coaster” model represents a significant investment by Herschend Family Entertainment, designed to bridge the gap between the park’s kiddie rides and its high-intensity hypercoasters. The ride features a unique layout that utilizes the park’s terrain, sending riders on a high-speed “flight” through the trees at speeds exceeding 30 mph. With its state-of-the-art lap bar restraints and smooth, sweeping maneuvers, Flying Fox aims to provide an accessible yet exhilarating experience for “junior pilots” and their families, further solidifying the park’s commitment to immersive, story-driven attractions.
