Located in the heart of the recently debuted Discovery Meadow (formerly King Louie’s Playland), Hollyhock and Roll is a vibrant Vekoma Junior Coaster that serves as a cornerstone for family thrills. For over thirty years, the ride was known as Roller Skater (1994–2024) and famously featured trains shaped like giant roller skates. As part of the park’s 2025 reimagining under Herschend Family Entertainment, the ride was repainted with a striking purple track and green supports to match its new floral theme. The experience centers around “Robin” the gardener and her “rolling planters,” whisking riders along a 679-foot course at 22 mph. Standing just under 28 feet tall, it remains a beloved “bridge” attraction that offers a bit more speed than the smallest kiddie rides while providing a colorful, garden-themed adventure for guests of all ages.
