Adventure Express

Located in the heart of the recently reimagined Adventure Port, Adventure Express is a classic Arrow Dynamics mine train that has been a fan-favorite at Kings Island since 1991. Far more than a standard family coaster, it immerses riders in a high-speed treasure-hunting expedition through dense “jungles” and volcanic tunnels at speeds up to 35 mph. The ride is famous for its heavy theming—inspired by the spirit of Indiana Jones—which includes rickety wooden bridges, mysterious stone ruins, and a legendary finale. As the train ascends the final enclosed lift hill, riders are confronted by massive stone warriors with glowing eyes and moving arms, while an ominous voice warns, “You have disturbed the forbidden temple; now you will pay!” before the coaster makes its final, surprising turn back into the station.
