Great Pumpkin Coaster

Located in the heart of Planet Snoopy, the Great Pumpkin Coaster serves as the perfect “starter” thrill for the park’s youngest guests. Originally opened in 1992 as Scooby Zoom, this steel kiddie coaster has undergone several identity shifts—from Top Cat’s Taxi Jam to Little Bill’s Giggle Coaster—before settling on its current Peanuts-inspired theme in 2010. Standing just 8 feet tall with a compact 199-foot oval layout, the ride is designed specifically for children (and their parents) to experience the basic mechanics of a roller coaster, including a gentle chain lift and small dips. Because the course is so brief, the train typically completes two full circuits, providing a 52-second adventure that helps pint-sized riders build the confidence to eventually tackle nearby classics like Woodstock Express.
