Located in the award-winning Planet Snoopy, Woodstock’s Air Rail is a suspended family coaster that gives younger thrill-seekers the sensation of flying beneath the track. Originally opening in 2001 as Rugrats Runaway Reptar (and later known as Flying Ace Aerial Chase), the ride was rebranded in 2024 to fit the park’s refreshed Peanuts theming. Standing 49 feet tall and reaching speeds of 26 mph, the coaster features a “floorless” design where riders’ feet dangle as they navigate a series of banked turns and spirals. Unlike the high-intensity inversions of its neighbor Banshee, Woodstock’s Air Rail is designed to be an accessible “bridge” attraction, offering just enough speed and height to prepare children for the park’s larger wooden and steel coasters while providing a great view of the surrounding kids’ area.
