TRON Lightcycle / Run is a high-speed steel “motorbike” coaster in Tomorrowland at Magic Kingdom, inspired by the 2010 film TRON: Legacy. Manufactured by Vekoma, the attraction features a 78-foot-tall layout where riders straddle individual Lightcycle vehicles and are propelled by a linear motor launch from 0 to 59.3 mph in seconds. The 3,169-foot track takes “Team Blue” through a series of “Energy Gates” both under a massive, color-shifting outdoor canopy and inside a dark show building, all set to an original score by Joseph Trapanese. The ride has a 48-inch height requirement and utilizes a standard standby line alongside a paid Lightning Lane Single Pass, as the virtual queue system was phased out for this attraction in late 2024.
