Wooden Warrior is a compact wooden roller coaster featuring a classic out-and-back layout with several airtime hills and banked turns. The ride utilizes a traditional chain lift hill to reach its peak before descending through a series of rapid changes in elevation and direction. Passengers ride in Timberliner trains, which are designed to navigate tight curves and transitions smoothly while maintaining momentum. The track layout is integrated into the natural terrain, providing a sequence of physical forces and quick pacing throughout the course.
