Kraken is Orlando’s only floorless roller coaster, a high-intensity Bolliger & Mabillard (B&M) machine that has been a SeaWorld staple since 2000. Themed after the legendary deep-sea monster, the ride features open-sided trains with pedestal-style seats that leave your feet dangling as you navigate its massive 4,177-foot track. It is a classic “loops and rolls” experience, boasting seven inversions—including a 128-foot vertical loop and a zero-g roll—reaching speeds of 65 mph and heights of nearly 150 feet. While it briefly featured a virtual reality overlay titled “Kraken Unleashed” in 2017, the park has since reverted to the traditional experience, focusing on the raw thrill of the “near-miss” moments and its iconic subterranean dive.
