Batwing is a steel flying roller coaster manufactured by Vekoma that provides the sensation of flight by positioning riders face-down as they navigate the course. Standing 115 feet tall and reaching a top speed of 50 mph, the ride features five inversions including a vertical loop and two inline twists. As one of only a few Vekoma “Flying Dutchman” models ever built, it utilizes a specialized loading process where riders enter in a seated position before the seats recline 90 degrees to facilitate the flying experience.
