Tantrum is a steel roller coaster characterized by its vertical lift hill and a beyond-vertical initial drop. The ride utilizes single-car vehicles that seat eight riders in two rows. After the steep descent, the course features a series of high-intensity elements including an Immelmann loop, a diving loop, and a cutback inversion. The layout focuses on compact, rapid transitions and consistent pacing until the final brake run.
