El Toro is a prefabricated wooden roller coaster that utilizes highly precise, laser-cut track sections bolted together rather than traditional hand-cut lumber. A high-speed cable lift hill carries the train to its peak before a steep drop leads into a series of large camelback hills and intense turns. The layout incorporates a figure-eight turnaround and a rapid zigzag section known as a twister finale near the ground. Passengers experience significant negative gravity forces throughout the course as the train maintains high velocity over the smooth wooden structure.
