Nitro is a steel roller coaster featuring a conventional out-and-back layout with several camelback hills designed to provide sustained periods of airtime. The ride utilizes a traditional chain lift hill to reach its peak before descending into a series of banked turns and a large helix. Open-air trains with tiered seating and lap bar restraints allow for an unobstructed view and a sense of exposure throughout the course. The layout concludes with a sequence of smaller hills that lead into the final brake run.
