Tidal Wave is a steel shuttle coaster featuring a catapult launch mechanism that propels the train from the station directly into a vertical loop. After navigating the inversion, the train climbs a steep dead-end spike, pauses briefly, and then traverses the entire circuit in reverse. The ride utilizes a weight-drop system to generate the necessary momentum for the initial acceleration. Riders experience positive G-forces through the loop followed by a moment of weightlessness at the apex of the rear tower before returning to the station.
