Sunrise Park Resort
Established 1998
Sunrise Park Resort is a year-round recreation destination in Greer, Arizona, owned and operated by the White Mountain Apache Tribe on the Fort Apache Indian Reservation. As the largest ski resort in the state, the facility spans three peaks—Sunrise Peak, Apache Peak, and Cyclone Circle—and offers a base elevation of 9,200 feet. Beyond its 67 ski trails, the resort features a wide array of seasonal activities including Arizona’s only lift-served downhill mountain biking, the Apache High Flyer (the state’s longest tandem zip line), and 3D archery. The park also provides summer and winter tubing, scenic chairlift rides to a peak elevation of 11,000 feet, and access to Sunrise Lake for fishing and boating.
