Curse of the Werewolf

Curse of the Werewolf is a custom spinning roller coaster located in the Dark Universe land of Universal Epic Universe, which opened in May 2025. Manufactured by Mack Rides, this family-style attraction serves as a “bridge” thrill, featuring a 40-inch height requirement and a top speed of 37 mph. The experience begins in the colorful wagon camp of “The Guild of Mystics,” where the seer Maleva warns riders of the beastly curse before launching them into a multi-pass LSM launch sequence. As the train weaves through the “Cursed Woods,” the individual cars spin freely based on weight distribution, offering a different ride every time you encounter the animatronic werewolves lunging from the shadows of a dilapidated barn. While some enthusiasts have noted the visible safety netting and relatively short duration, it remains a standout for its immersive gothic atmosphere and its role in expanding the lore of the Universal Classic Monsters.
